ACCA Pakistan organizes Virtual Careers Fair, bringing hundred of jobs under one platform

        

ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) organized the 3^rd Edition of its Virtual Careers Fair. It has featured around 200+ top organizations, 600+ jobs along with 4 Power Packed Exclusive Sessions by Industry Experts to enhance the employability Skills of participants.

The participating employers came from a variety of industries such as Shared Services / BPO and Consultancy, Accounting & Public Practice including Big 6 and SMPs, Manufacturing including Textile, Cement and Automotive, BFSI, FMCG/Retail, Property & Construction, Telecom and Health / Pharma – reflecting a growing demand of the accountancy and finance professionals.

ACCA continues to create inclusive opportunities for Pakistan’s youth (our members and future members) and supports their employability by unlocking the power of digital and employing innovative solutions. The event was attended by thousands of participants who were able to interact with leading employers and recruiters, learn from experts, seek new opportunities and build valuable connections with other participants and speakers.

Infinix Launches Cutting-Edge Industry Leading 3D Vapour Cloud Chamber Liquid Cooling Technology

      

              

Today, Infinix officially launched its revolutionary 3D Vapor Cloud Chamber (3D VCC) Liquid Cooling Technology. Using innovative design on the dimensionality of VC shape for the first time designers have achieved an increase in the chamber volume which significantly improves heat dissipation resulting in better performance. This creative solution fixes some issues caused by high temperatures for high-integration and high-power smartphones, such as CPU frequency reduction, frame rate drops, and frozen screens. Infinix’s Self-Developed 3D VCC Technology

When heat enters the VC, water in the evaporator is vaporized into steam, which removes excess heat. Hot steam then flows into the condenser becoming a liquid, which flows back to the evaporator through the internal wick structure that forms a hot and cold circulation system with the coexistence of water and steam.

 

When compared with traditional VC design, the 3D Vapor Cloud Chamber Liquid Cooling Technology come a long way forward. Bumps were added to one side of the evaporator, increasing chamber volume and water storage capacity along with thermal flux. Water injection volume and Q max values increased by 20% when compared with conventional VC[1] resulting in massive improvements overall.

 

Reducing the thermal resistance media of the heating source is realized by adjusting the structure of the front housing to form a bump, which enables the 3D Vapor Cloud Chamber to almost directly contact the SoC chip. This significantly reduces thermal resistance from shield to Vapor Chamber increasing thermal conductivity rate, performance, and heat dissipation. In comparison to traditional 2D designs, the new 3D VCC reduces the temperature by about three degrees[2], and the total heat dissipation performance is increased by about 12.5%[3]

 

The Challenges of Creating Perfection

For Infinix to master heat dissipation in the new 3D VCC design, structural strength needed to be vastly improved upon previous designs. After numerous tests and improvements, Infinix’s R&D team designed the 3D internal structure into a matrix support column, balancing flatness and internal chamber volume.

                       

The second major challenge was maintain the integrity of the wick structure within the 3D structure. Traditional VC wick structures are flat and folds can easily occur within the 3D Cloud transition area, causing a potential chamber blockage. Utilizing a complicated capillary structure density analysis and advanced welding technology, Infinix’s R&D team were able to ensure the integrity of the wick structure, greatly improving performance.

 

Front housing adaption was also taken into account. In order to reduce the thermal resistance medium, Infinix’s R&D team repeatedly evaluated the position of the front housing opening and the strength of its alloy material, resulting in front housing adaptation. Together, these key components make up Infinix’s self developed 3D Vapor Cloud Chamber Liquid Cooling Technology.

A brave widow – Bhappan Bibi cultivates her small farm in Multan.

   

Pakistan’s fertile lands, irrigated by five rivers and one of the world’s largest canal networks, are providing good yields and respectable livelihood to over 70 percent of the country’s 240 million citizens. Therefore, the agricultural sector has attracted large-scale investments from global and domestic enterprises, contributing to socio-economic development and sustainable growth. The nation’s farming communities have many inspirational stories of diligent growers who have achieved remarkable success.

During a recent visit to South Punjab, I came across one of these exemplary farmers - Bhappan Bibi a courageous widow who nurtures her own crops on her seven acres of land near Multan city, situated on the bank of river Chenab. After the tragic loss of her husband, 18 years ago, the only option she had was to take up farming on this small piece of land that she owned. With her hard work and strong will, Bhappan Bibi has been able to sustain her household, feed and educate her 5 children for almost two decades now. Over the years, she cultivated rice, wheat, Okra, etc., all by herself, and this honorable profession has also enabled her to get her three daughters married. Today, she can also afford to get her remaining two children married, without depending on any financial help from relatives or others.

She is skilled in efficient water use and knows crop-protection, spray-techniques and timely use of the right amount of fertilizers. Hence, her farm produces high-quality crops that earn a good price in the market.
