Zong hands over, a brand new BMW & two Toyota Corolla cars to three lucky winners

Zong, Pakistan’s No 1 and only 3G + 4G telecom operator, here on Sundayannounced the lucky customers of its blockbuster ‘Zong’s Mega Recharge Campaign’ the winners won a brand new BMW car and two Toyota Corolla cars.

Through this mega campaign, Adil Hussain of Sahiwal has been declared the winner of brand new BMW car, while Ali Asghar of Karachi and Inamullah of Karak have won brand new Toyota Corolla cars. A grand hand-over ceremony was held at Zong Headquarters in Islamabad where these lucky winners received their cars.

‘Zong’s Mega Recharge Campaign’ that took the subscribers by storm was effective from 17th April to 31st May 2015. In order to qualify for the lucky draw for the BMW car, customers needed to recharge Rs.300 or more before 31st May while for Toyota Corolla cars, customers were required to recharge a minimum balance of Rs.200 or more.

Speaking at the occasion, Babar Bajwa, Chief Commercial Officer, Zong said, “Having ones own car is still a dream for many Pakistani’s, but through this campaign Zong has facilitated the customers and helped make their dream a reality”. “We have ensured absolute transparency throughout the process and feel proud that we deliver what we promise to our valued customers” he added.

After fulfilling legal formalities Adil Hussain himself drove BMW car to Sahiwal while Ali Aghar of Karachi and Inamullah of Karak will be provided their cars in their respective cities.

Pak Qatar Family Takaful announces 27.22% surplus distribution for 2014

Pak Qatar Family Takaful Limited (PQFTL) has announced the distribution of 27.22% surplus among its Individual Family Takaful participants (Direct Business) for the year 2014, consecutively for the seventh year. This Surplus reflects the institution’s competitive financial performance during the year 2014.

The Single-rate method has been adopted to calculate the Surplus, and will be distributed amongst the participants, through a defined manner in relation to the “Cumulative Net Contribution” received in the IPTPF (Individual Family Takaful Participant Fund) by each participant.

Furthermore, the actual surplus will only be distributed among those participants, who will be   leaving the pool during the year 2015, and will be making permanent withdrawals, in case of maturity of their membership or their death.

After this important announcement of Surplus declaration, Pak-Qatar Family Takaful Limited will now become the one single Family Takaful Operator in the country, which has been consistently declaring distributable Surplus for Individual Family Takaful, every year, over the past seven years of its operations. It is important to note that; in the year 2008 PQFTL had declared a surplus of 10%, which has seen consistent growth to reach 27.22% in the year 2014.
