Huawei’s Boss Reveals His Success Mantra

Huawei is a world’s leading technology manufacturer that has recorded numerous milestone in its 28 year journey. Huawei is among those few business empires that are turned into a multinational with a very little investment to start. In case of Huawei, Mr. Ren Zhengfei had started with just 21000 yuan and look at the $60 billion revenue generating giant today. Recently, in his talk to a media agency in China, Huawei’s home, the boss has revealed his success mantra and left the young businessmen to inspire with his approach towards business. For Mr. Ren the idea of goals, in his own words, are; “Our goal is to blaze a trail into No Man's Land in the telecom industry."

Huawei has outgrown from the home country and spread across the nations and regions in a robust fashion. Today, Huawei is not a top international technology brand only, but the tech giant has evolved to be a national brand in most of the countries. Customers in such countries prefer Huawei smart phone and products more than any other brand. The confidence Huawei has given to the consumer markets are unreachable for the contemporaries. In the markets across the globe, Huawei is engulfing shares of once top brands with a great pace and soon it will be the world’s number 1 technology brand, for sure.

Huawei CEO also admitted that the policies of the Government of China during the initial years of Huawei turned in favor of the Huawei company. Nevertheless, the heavy tax burdens on the company in the same period convinced most of the colleagues and friends of Mr. Ren that he must give up. But, later Shenzhen decided to not to levy taxes on the companies until the companies start earning profits. This reinforced the efforts of the Huawei founder to establish stronger footings for the company and to target the telecom sector with only dozens of employees. Mr. Ren said. “When we evolved into a company with hundreds or even thousands of people, we were still focusing on the same thing. And this remains the same case when we currently have more than 100,000 employees. We are targeting it with intensive bombardment."

Huawei, on a yearly basis, is investing more than $15 billion in the telecom sector in a way that it equally focuses on the R&D and the marketing. And parallel to this Huawei has been appreciating the win-win situation for all the enterprises to work like an information society, as Huawei is the a leader in bid data transmission as well. It is pertinent to mention here as Mr. Ren said, Huawei has learned and adopted the best from the Western corporate structures and management philosophies. (Although, Huawei claims to have even better management than the western corporate). In a rough estimate Huawei has 20,000 more management staff as compared to the Erricson that costs around $4 billion more in the management fee for the company. And now the company is focusing to optimize the structure and improving the efficiency at its best.

In the pursuance to achieve the goal of streamlining and improving management at Huawei, the company has been engaging the top of management profile personnel in the company. For instance, the retired director of Toyota motors served as an incharge senior management team in Huawei for 10 years. Similarly, German engineers also remained the part of Huawei for decades. This also depicts Huawei’s multinational approach and the concept of globalization, where Huawei does not confine itself to the borders or boundaries of any nature.

On the production side, Huawei had started from producing the products of 10,000 yuan value and eventually moved to the worth of billions of dollar value. Huawei is moving towards the heights of success and progressing towards something really big. And the most special about this progression is the steady graph of consistent growth.

Mr. Ren also described that when Huawei started foreign ventures Huawei sought help from the consultants around the world and put the things in a best possible fashion.  And again here, Huawei is now on its mark to make things simpler and easy in this sphere as well. Huawei has proved to be among the companies adopting the modern business tactics and strategies so readily.

In the end Mr. Ren also expressed his deep concerns and determination to keep two factors under control for Huawei’s success. First one was focusing on the employees so they must not go slower with the ever increasing number of staff and the company’s boundaries. Secondly, Huawei must go for the intellectual property rights, however the physical property rights are already protected by law.

Overall, Huawei’s success story is fascinating and the way Mr. Ren devised his success mantras are even inspiring. Huawei is strongly accepted by the consumer markets across the globe. With the similar pace and progression future is “Huawei”.

Samsung Electronics’ Curved Monitors Earn Performance Validation from Harvard Medical School Research Study

Intensive testing finds curved monitors improve focus and reduce eye discomfort for users   compared with flat-screen alternatives

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., and its cutting-edge SE790C curved monitor deliver a more comfortable and less strenuous user viewing experience than comparable flat-screen alternatives offer, according to the results of a recently-completed Harvard Medical School study.

The complete findings of the research paper – “Comparison of Flat and Curved Monitors: Eyestrain Caused by Intensive Visual Search Task” – were unveiled during the Society of Information Display’s (SID) annual Display Week, held last week in San Francisco. The Harvard Medical School research team, led by Drs. Eli Peli and Gang Luo, presented its curved monitor findings during the event’s May 26 Curved and 3D Displays research segment.

Through its study, researchers from the Schepens Eye Research Institute, Mass Eye and Ear at the Harvard Medical School aimed to explore the health effects of computer screen exposure and gauge the potential to reduce symptoms of Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) through curved monitor usage. During its research, the Harvard Medical School team asked participants with 20/20 or better near visual acuities to view content on both a 34-inch version of Samsung’s SE790C curved monitor and a comparable flat-screen alternative.

Each participant was asked to complete pre- and post-viewing questionnaires to measure their comfort levels across 22 unique vision symptoms. The rigorous proportion testing found that significantly more participants reported certain worsening symptoms when viewing the flat-screen monitor than with the curved monitor, including eyestrain, difficulty focusing, blurred vision and tired eyes.

“Through innovative design and a host of viewer-friendly features, Samsung’s curved monitors are optimized to offer the most immersive, comfortable and vivid viewing experience possible,” said Seog-gi Kim, Senior Vice President, Visual Display Business, Samsung Electronics. “The results of the Harvard Medical School study further validate our promise to deliver high-quality visual environments that are less taxing and more enjoyable, and we will continue to introduce new innovations that exceed our customers’ expectations.”

An upgrade to the varying center-to-edge viewing distances common among standard flat-screen displays, Samsung’s SE790C displays employ a near equidistant design formatted to match the natural shape of the human eye. This edge-to-edge, 3000R curve creates an extensive and complete view that comfortably immerses viewers into the picture. Through its wide viewing angle, best-in-class 3,000:1 static contrast ratio and ability to deter external light interference, the SE790C display delivers exceptional picture quality and performance for long-duration use scenarios such as gaming and movie viewing.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., unveiled today a shared vision with 20th Century Fox (Fox) to further elevate the consumer viewing experience, and the TV industry at large.

A new video released by the company highlights its longstanding partnership with industry leading film studio and underlines the importance of TV in today’s larger content ecosystem, featuring executives from both Samsung and Fox who share their collective vision for the future.

“Fox and Samsung have been working collaboratively for many years on new technologies,” said Danny Kaye, executive vice president, global research and technology strategy, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. “Over the years, we’ve formed a deep mutual respect and now we’re taking that collaboration to a whole new level.”

The partnership between Samsung and Fox began in 2013, when Samsung joined the Secure Content Storage Association (SCSA) — a consortium of companies in the entertainment and storage space that aim to provide consumers with new ways to access high-quality digital programming across devices — and did so with the backing of Fox. Samsung has since launched a UHD download service with Fox content, as well as an expanded service that includes High Dynamic Range (HDR) titles, which is available to consumers globally.

Huawei is Committed to becoming an Advocate, Promoter & Leader of Full Cloudification

Huawei is a name of innovation and the synonym to make things possible. Recently, in Huawei’s 13th Global Analyst Summit in China, the technology tycoon came up with the idea of full cloudification through cloud computing, IoT and operations transformations. This will, if materialized the way Huawei presenting it to the world, revolutionize the technology world as well as the concept of whole technological operations. Previously in a 12th meeting of the Global Summit Huawei has already proposed  the Real-time, On-demand, All-online, DIY, and Social (ROADS) experience model to reshape the future and taking user experience to the new level of climax.

Similarly this year, Huawei has been focusing on full cloudification strategies that actually bases in providing the best ROADS experience. Huawei argues that for the successful accomplishment of the concept into reality few things should be the main focus, like complete reconstruction of the ICT infrastructure in terms of equipments, networks, services and the operations. This is indeed a revolutionizing idea, to change the whole world and connect it in an even better way. It wouldn’t be wrong if one coins that Huawei is committed to be the advocate, promoter and the leader of full cloudification at its best. Huawei believes that the idea can be materialized through creating a systematic strength in the pooled hardware resources, fully distributed software architecture, and full automation as the idea is already presented to the world.

A high official of Huawei describes the story in his words as, “Huawei will focus on ICT infrastructure and smart devices; invest over the long term; fully unleash the potential of connectivity, ultra-broadband, and data; and develop an agile architecture and open platforms to accelerate the digital transformation of our customers, including operators.

Huawei will continue to invest its energies and resources to connect the world in a better and more convenient way. The world where people experience high quality of technological innovations and ideas becoming a reality. Huawei is after making it possible for the whole world through its commitment and passion.

Huawei Has Turned To Be A Style Symbol

Since the last few years, Huawei has been performing outstandingly in the national as well as international markets. With a complete focus of high class and high technology products Huawei has been manufacturing the best smart phones, in terms of the best designs, highly desirable features, attractive camera features, and the best in operating system. This consistent approach by the technology giant makes Huawei an ultimate competitor for the so-called technology leader; Samsung and Apple.

In today’s market, especially in Pakistan, the larger shares are being captured by Huawei and both the Samsung and Apple are facing tough condition. Even the year on year growth statistics, making it difficult for them to sustain any title of the big technology manufacturer. A number of Huawei products like Huawei Mate S, Huawei Nexus 6P, Huawei Mate 8, Huawei Honor 5X and the recently launched Huawei P9 have swapped a gigantic victory over Samsung and Apple products, especially in term of sales.

Moreover, Huawei has not been a brand that is only celebrated by the consumer markets or the general customers alone, but celebrities are also there to shine out with Huawei. If one can name the Pakistani stars there is Atif Aslam, who loved the brand most and can be seen in Huawei promotional campaigns, for instance for Honor 5X. Similarly, Henry Cavill and Scarlett Johansson are the Hollywood’s big names who have recently got associated with the Huawei. From the grounds of passionate game, football, Lionel Messi is a true lover and now the brand Ambassador for Huawei.

These high acclaims are earned by Huawei due to its commitment to the innovative approach and the consistency of bringing something new each time in its new products. In a newly launched Huawei P9 an amazing Camera has been experienced by the customers. A dual Camera worked out in collaboration with the leading Icon of Professional Camera, Leica, is just a mantra of success for the smart phone. Similar innovative ideas and then there implementation with so perfection make Huawei the most desired brand in the market.

The values Huawei has followed also includes the highest priority to the customer satisfaction, devising new models basing them on strong R&D, valuing the customers and many more like this. Huawei is a people’s brand and this has made it the world’s most valuable brand as well. If one can examine the last year statistics, these facts can easily be seen in terms of hiked brand awareness, Brand Loyalty, Priority brand and the high sales, of course.  With the same pace Huawei will soon turn to be the world’s number 1 technology manufacturer, soon.
