Huawei Directly Responded to the Samsung’s Trembling, So-called Trade-in Market Stunt

The leading global technology giant, Huawei, has directly responded to the Samsung’s trembling, so-called Trade-In market stunt, recently. Samsung Electronics Co. has already declared at the international and national market of Pakistan that 2016 would be a tough year for the company with respect to the smart phones. That fear, in fact, came from the expanding reach of Technology giant Huawei. Huawei has predicted its smart phones business growth with incredible figures in this year. It is also to be noted that Huawei has already marked 2015 as the year of Huawei smart phones, in which it has shipped more than 100 million smart phones, Mate S just rocked the markets across the globe and above all Huawei has realistically estimated to hit the revenue target for Pakistan market in next 2-3 years, of around 1-2 billion US dollars.

With the start of 2016 Huawei has announced its outstanding high-tech smart phone Mate 8 to be launched in Pakistan that will be, further, followed by a wide range of exciting Huawei smart technology products. Unlike Samsung and Apple, Huawei expects to grow the business remarkably positive. This has literally left Samsung in hot waters because Huawei is on its marks to take-over the title of 2nd largest global technology manufacturer in the world. Subsequently in a pathetically hilarious attempt to counter the emerging technology giant Samsung has come up with an offer of Trade-In option.

In the so-called Trade-in offer Samsung is trying to pursue the consumers to exchange their smart phones against Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy Note 5 and that is not the all but also providing free Samsung Gear VR. This offer is marketed at the time when Huawei is about to launch all new flagship smart phone Huawei Mate 8. However, Samsung has underestimated the real time champ of the technology world. Because in just a few days Huawei Mate 8 pre-bookings crossed 500 orders and consumers are eagerly waiting to get this high technology product without any delay.

Awful situation is for Samsung as people are already crazy about Mate 8 and everywhere from brand outlets to the social media portals Huawei Mate 8 has been ruling with dignity. And it is not a result of any marketing stunt like Samsung tried, instead, it is the policies of Huawei to prefer customers’ need, serving the customers with best of technological innovations, relatively more affordable price and above all focusing robustly on research and development to create finest technology products.

Responding to Samsung’s Trade-in feat Huawei asked the shaky competitor to focus on the technology products and consumer satisfaction at heart. Technology giant Huawei also told the competitor to not to lose patience and avoid repeating laughable tactics to keep it alive in the market.

Huawei Mate 8 will be launched on 31st of January amid glamorous event in Karachi. Heartthrob celebs of entertainment fraternity, VIPs for the technology world, famous media persons, business and technology analysts and of course icons of the fashion industry will join the launch event alongside Huawei high profile officials and brand Ambassadors. Rumors are there that the Technology Giant Huawei may invite the competitors as well to witness the glory of consumer response at the launch event.

Huawei Witnessed 44% Smart Phone Shipment Growth Last Year

The leading global technology giant, Huawei, has closed 2015 as a remarkable year indeed. In the last year Huawei has grown in terms of record sales, hiked brand awareness and also achieved marvelous milestones, likewise. Among these milestones one was the robust increase in the smart phones shipment by the Technology leader. The company has witnessed annual 44% smart phones shipment increase in the last year, 2015. This is the record increase by any technology manufacturer in 2015 generally in the smart phones shipment count.

Huawei has achieved this successful pattern of growth due to its strict commitment with the customer oriented product manufacturing and keeping consumer demands a priority. Record Huawei smart phones shipped last year were 108 million units, more precisely, 3 smart phone units shipped in each second.

Although the enhanced global sales regions remained the China and Western Europe, however, local market of Pakistan also captured with Huawei brand. Most exciting smart phone that ruled the market last year in Pakistan was Huawei Mate S. Mate S has superior quality features of smart devices and was offered at best affordable price as compared to other competitors brand devices.

Huawei is all set to invade markets in 2016 as well and with respect to this, Huawei has full range of some really exciting devices for this year. Among these the most awaited smart phone is the Huawei flagship device Huawei Mate 8. Even recently the pre-booking of this marvelous superior quality smart phone has been started while coupled with surprise voucher and free gifts schemes. Other than this, Huawei Honor 5X, Y6 Pro, Go3 and Y5 II etc. These smart phones are prepared to start 2016 as the year of Huawei.

It is also to be noted that Huawei Managing Director for Devices has recently expressed that Huawei is looking to hit the target of 1 to 2 billion US $ within next 2 to 3 years. All these facts and figures clearly demonstrate that Huawei has planned for positive growth in future.

However on the other hand Samsung and Apple are not experiencing the similar conditions. On the contrary Samsung has said that it is expecting a difficult business environment in 2016 on the ground of weakening global economy and heightened competition. On the similar lines a Nikkei report says that most probably Apple is expected to cut it’s recently (or latest) launched iPhone model productions by more or less 30% in the first quarter of this year.

Although the market analysts intimated that it would be earlier to count on Huawei as the real time competitor to Samsung and Apple. But on the other hand the consumer pools Huawei has been capturing progressively across the globe with even positive expectation for the each coming year are irresistibly great. But definitely things will clear, to an extent, within the first quarter.

Samsung Electronics announces GAIA, a Powerful Smart TV Security Solution for 2016 and Beyond

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., today announced GAIA, a powerful and comprehensive three-layer security solution for its entire 2016 line up of Tizen-based Smart TVs. The service will give consumers protection across all areas of the Smart TV ecosystem, including services, software and hardware security.

“Protecting consumers’ personal information is of the utmost importance to Samsung, both in terms of the company’s values and what’s needed for the continued growth and success of the IoT ecosystem,” said Hyun Suk Kim, President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “GAIA is a security solution that will give Samsung customers security and peace of mind now and in the future.”

GAIA protects consumer’s personal data in three ways. Firstly it has Secure Zone, a virtual barrier that creates a secure space and protects the core service operations. A Secure Keypad/Number Pad - the virtual data input mechanism seen on a TV, is used to safeguard consumers’ personal information such as credit card and password.

Secondly, GAIA encrypts important data transmitted between the TV and IoT service servers. GAIA’s built-in anti-malware system detects and blocks any unauthorized programs that may be used for hacking from running or making changes to key part of the Smart TV’s OS.

Thirdly, Security level is also strengthened in terms of hardware. By dividing the Tizen OS into two parts including the main and the security space, data for each space is secured separately. Also, public key used for verifying personal information is included in the hardware chip.

Samsung views 2016 as the year the TV will become the center for Internet of Things (IoT) extensions in the home. As well as being equipped with GAIA, all 2016 Samsung SUHD TVs will be IoT hub technology enabled, allowing the TV itself to act as the controller for the entire home IoT service

The findings are contained in new research conducted by Pakistan’s best real estate website, Lamudi.pk. The second annual report released by Lamudi provides a comprehensive overview of Pakistan’s property sector.
